Because the way to fix things is by tearing other people down.  You can say a lot about Miley, but she is one of the few people who has truly worked their ass off for equality.  There are a lot of people who legitimately are racist and don’t give a fucking shit about anyone, so maybe we should be working towards changing those people rather than alienating people from the cause.
